FIFA 22: William Saliba available in FUT via Future Stars SBC

Marseille's William Saliba received a Future Stars special card via SBC for FIFA 22 Ultimate Team (FUT) on Wednesday evening (February 9th).

The French central defender switched from AS Saint-Étienne to Arsenal FC for a whopping 30 million euros in the summer of 2019 at the age of just 18. However, Saliba has not yet been able to assert itself with the "Gunners", followed by loan positions as a returnee in Saint-Étienne, at OGC Nice - and since this season at Olympique Marseille. There, the 20-year-old enjoys the full confidence of coach Jorge Sampaoli, he has only missed one game in the current Ligue 1 season. Understandably, Saliba was released as a Future Star in FUT 22, and the future still belongs to the U21 international.

The Future Stars object gives Saliba an overall rating of 88 points, compared to the regular gold variant (75) all core attributes have been increased. The focus is on the physique (89) and the defensive (88), but the pace (83), which is strong given his position, should also attract some interested parties. To unlock Saliba as a Future Star in FUT 22, a Squad Building Challenge (SBC) with three required teams must be completed by February 16th.

Saliba SBC Requirements

Ligue 1: At least one Ligue 1 player, at least one TOTW player, overall team rating of at least 83, and team chemistry of at least 70.

France: At least one player of French nationality, at least one TOTW player, overall team rating of at least 84, and team chemistry of at least 65.

Future Stars: At least one Future Stars player, Overall Team Rating of at least 85, and Team Chemistry of at least 60.
