FIFA 22: FUT Season 2 - what will change in Rivals and WL?

In FIFA 22 Ultimate Team (FUT), Season 2 is just around the corner - we look at the changes for Division Rivals, the Weekend League and the milestones.
With FIFA 22, EA SPORTS has completely overhauled the competitive ecosystem in FUT, especially Division Rivals and FUT Champions and the Weekend League have been turned upside down. However, the developer has not yet completed the adjustments almost a month and a half after the global release, with the start of the second season on Thursday (November 11th), fine adjustments will be made. In a small special edition of the FIFA show "Top Bins" on the night of Wednesday (November 10th) the most important questions were clarified, both the qualification points and the entry tokens from Season 1 will be retained.
The incomplete progress in the FUT Champions Playoffs will be reset with the start of the second season, however, the players will have to complete all matches again. In order to qualify for the playoffs via Division Rivals, 2,000 qualification points are due immediately instead of the previous 1,500. The FIFA community has already criticized this fact. In Division Rivals, relegations will take place, from Elite to Division 6 by two leagues at a time - for example, from Elite to Division 2 or from Division 1 to Division 3.
Divisions 7 and 8 are relegated by one league, players in divisions 9 and 10 are spared relegation. The Milestone Rewards in Division Rivals will be increased, exact details were not disclosed. The weekly rewards in Rivals, FUT Champions or Squad Battles, however, will not be changed. Finally, some adjustments will be made to the progress in Division Rivals, this will affect Divisions 5, 6, 7 and 9.
