EA brings back Juventus for FIFA 23

One of the biggest clubs in the world is returning to FIFA on EA Sports. Today, EA announced a "multi-year partnership" with Juventus, which will once again bring the Italian team to the developer's wildly popular football video game. The deal starts with FIFA 23, which launches on September 30. For the past three years, Juventus has been exclusively available in Konami's rival series Pro Evolution Soccer.
As well as adding Juventus and its stadium and kit to the game, the deal goes a step further; EA says the two sides will "bring new opportunities beyond football through a range of lifestyle and cultural initiatives", while Juve Tooth points out that EA will be your partner in its "official city cult". This news is particularly noteworthy for the future. Starting in 2023, EA will drop its longtime partner FIFA in favor of a new branded franchise called EA Sports FC. The Juventus deal seems to suggest that despite the name change, the series will continue to feature the biggest club in the world.
FIFA said it will continue to work with other developers on the development of licensed games. FIFA President Gianni Infantino said in May: "I can assure you that the only real game with the FIFA name will be the best game available to gamers and football fans. "The FIFA name is the only original worldwide name. FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25, FIFA 26 and more - the constant is the FIFA name that will always be and remain the best."
EA debuted FIFA 23 last week, while revealing a renewed focus on women's football, including the addition of club teams from England and France.
